There is a reason why roulette is not played professionally. Unlike poker or blackjack, you don’t have much influence over the course of a round, so on the one hand you are dependent on luck and on the other hand you have to pay attention to your own self-discipline.

This is precisely why many roulette strategies have developed for the online casino that have less to do with the actual game than with managing your bankroll – that means using your money in such a way that you can minimize losses and maximize profits ,

James Bond strategy

Everyone knows James Bond and his casino stories; Roulette is definitely one of the British secret agent’s favorite games, alongside baccarat, of course.

For the James Bond strategy, you first define a total amount that you want to bet – this can be endlessly high or low, depending on your budget.

Then you just have to follow three steps (the following numbers have been adjusted for a total of 200 euros):

You bet 140 euros on all numbers between 19 and 36.
You place 50 euros on all numbers between 13 and 18.
You place 10 euros on the zero.

With this betting method you can cover a lot of numbers.

With a bet of 200 euros you win as follows:

80 euros between 19 and 36.
100 euros between 13 and 18.
160 euros at zero.
0 euros between 1 and 12.

You can combine the bond strategy with a progressive strategy like Martingale to make up for your losses. But of course the bankroll has to play along.

The quick roulette strategy

This strategy is very simple and it can give you good profits – but it is also very risky. For this strategy, look at the marked Dozens (the dozens) on the field.

We bet 25 units on the first and third lectures.
If you win, you place the same 2 bets on 11 units.
If you win again, you play the first and second dozen for another 17 units.
If you have completed all three steps, you win € 52.

Statistically speaking, three wins in a row are possible under such betting conditions. Whoever loses should change tables or take a break.

The mathematical roulette strategy

Roulette is also subject to the laws of statistics and probability. So the probability of hitting a certain number is 1/37.

This means that in a whole game cycle (consisting of 37 rounds) only 24 numbers can be hit one or more times; the other 13 are unlikely.

With this statistical observation, the following strategy was developed:

Check out the outcome of 30 roulette rounds and collect statistics. (It is likely that 13-14 numbers were hit once, 5-6 twice, and 16-17 not once)
Determine the number of rounds: divide 36 by the number of times the 30 rounds occurred, e.g. 36: 4 = 9, where the 9 is the number of game rounds. (round up the numbers with decimal places)
We bet evenly on all the numbers that appear in the 30 rounds of the statistics collected.
If we have not won after the calculated rounds, we end the session and start again.

According to this strategy, it is undesirable to participate in such statistics where the number of times the number occurs twice is less than 4 or greater than 8.

The Columns & Dozen Roulette Strategy

The roulette field consists of dozens and columns. There are three “dozens” on the field, each with 12 numbers.

Dozen: 1-12
Dozen: 13-24
Dozen: 25-36

These run across the field and are easy to remember. The columns, however, are not so easy to remember. They run vertically along the field.

Column: 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 19, 22, 25, 28, 31, 34;
Column: 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23, 26, 29, 32, 35;
Column: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36.

Option 1

You observe about 10 game rounds to assess which column or which dozen appears the most. You bet equally on 2 columns or 2 dozen. With this method we cover ⅔ of the field. The chances of winning are then 66%.

Option 2

We bet on 2 columns and 2 dozen at the same time. Only on 4 cells and the zero is not bet. With this method, the chances of winning are around 86%.

This strategy is great for longer games and a small bankroll. However, you should definitely be able to keep track of your bets and wagers. This roulette strategy is seductive, but also exhausting.

It is hardly suitable for a joyous roulette game, but rather for meticulous betting. We therefore advise against it, because roulette is all about having fun. Anyone who goes into the game with a different attitude may be disappointed.

The Kavouras bet

This strategy is very simple and you only need to remember or write down three betting sequences. You place these bets every round, it looks like this:

1 unit on corner bet 0, 1, 2, 3
2 units on Street Bet 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36
1 unit each on 8-11, 13-14, 15-18, 17-20, 27-30.

Kavouras, the inventor of this extensive roulette strategy, calls it “awesome messy”. Because the bets are placed so evenly, the dealer cannot avoid bets.

The Kavouras bet has several advantages. It has many numbers. This makes the game less volatile and makes the fields look more even. At the same time, losing streaks are shortened as much as possible.

Because not all numbers are played with the same unit (Kavouras originally wanted to keep his bets minimal), you can win and lose against yourself all the time. This is good because the bankroll can recover a little from hard losses, at least with small profits.

A special feature of the Kavouras bet is that every win is also profitable. If you play the bet correctly, you can make a defensive and an aggressive selection thanks to the different monetary units.

By far the best thing about the Kavouras bet is that there is no reason to write down past rounds or to constantly change anything in the game system. You just remember 20 numbers and always put the same thing on them.

Betting systems for the roulette strategy

Unlike a strategy, a betting system only specifies how your stakes should be staggered per round. The game’s finesse is left entirely to luck. The task of a betting system is only to protect your bankroll as much as possible.

The two most popular betting systems are:

the Martingale system: if you lose a bet, you double your bet until you win again. If you win, you keep the basic stake and start again.
the Paroli system: After each win, stake and win remain on the table.

There are many other betting systems (such as the famous Oscar’s Grind System) that are sold as a roulette strategy. They can be very useful if you don’t want to enter the game headless and completely without control. However, they are only an illusion because the systems cannot influence gains or losses in roulette.

Martingale system

The most common, however, is the Martingale strategy. Its simple logic in particular tempts experienced players and newcomers to deal with it.

Of course, it is not a sure winning strategy, otherwise all casinos would have been robbed of their existence long ago. The principle is very simple in theory.

If the player loses, he stays with the chosen opportunity (Noir Rouge, Pair – Impair, Manque – Passe) and continuously doubles his bet until he finally wins.

1 – 2 – 4 – 8 – 16 – 32 – 64 – etc.

According to the probability theory, the series has to be interrupted at some point. He wins (mind 1 unit) and starts all over again.

The mathematical principle is correct, of course, but it only guarantees a profit with unlimited funds, time and stakes.

In addition to the fact that only a very few have the funds required for this, this also prevents the maximum bet specified by each casino on the individual roulette tables.

The Martingale method requires enormous financial resources, carries numerous risks and should not be used in roulette.

Paroli system

The Paroli betting system is a very popular game strategy. It is primarily a method of managing your bankroll and containing the losses somewhat. The Paroli system belongs to the so-called positive-progressive game systems and can be used not only with roulette, but also with all other games.

The difference to the Martingale system (which is a negative progression system) is the way you bet. With Paroli you only bet twice when you have won – and not when you are already losing.

Paroli works best in roulette with an equal bet, so if the odds are equal, for example, you bet on “red” or “black”.

You then determine your stake, usually the minimum at the table. This unit is doubled according to the paroli system if you win in the first round, if you win three again, and so on.

If you lose, you start again from the first session. The sequence starts over once you have won three times.

D’Alembert system

The D’Alembert method for roulette works similarly to the classic martingale system. D’Alembert is not quite as “radical” as Martingale, which is six volatile and can quickly lead to money loss.

Instead of halving or doubling your bets in this negative progression, you simply add units to them or subtract them.

So if you win, you have to decrease one unit in the next round. But if you lose in one round, you have to add a unit to it in the next round. So you can gradually adjust your losses and profits without taking much risk.

With the D’Alembert betting system, the gambler needs staying power. Because of the speed, it sometimes takes a long time to make up for your losses or make a lot of profit.

Parlay system

The Parlay system, like the Paroli system, is a positive progression. That means: you increase your stake if you win. The risk is contained here, because you only risk your winnings instead of all your capital in the game.

To play using the parlay method, you have to follow a certain structure. You place a chip on five different numbers each. You do this until you hit one of them.

As soon as that happens, you add a chip to each number. If you hit again, you put a chip on it again.

If you lose, you don’t lose everything: that’s the good thing about the Parlay system. You always go back to your starting number of chips if you don’t hit.

The good thing about the Parlay system: you can win a relatively large amount and still keep your losses at bay.
