Pragmatic Play, Play ‘ n GO, Microgaming and other software vendors have brought new Slots to the Online Casinos. I present here the latest slot machines shortly and describe my experiences with you while trying out.
Play’n GO has released an Arthus Slot that easily reminds of the Gameplay of 300 Shields. Stakelogic brings a new Book of Dead clones, Pragmatic Play wants to record it with Montezuma and Legacy of Egypt. The latest Slots in August I present here shortly and briefly explain how the Slots ran with me while trying out.
The Sword and the Grail by Play’n GO
The Sword and the Grail is a 5-reel, 3-row, 20-Payline slot machine game. From the Gameplay, the slot machine is reminiscent of 300 Shields from Nextgen. The theme is the world of knights of the round table and their search for the holy grail.
5 letters (a, Q, K, J and T) were selected as the letters. Merlin, Lancelot, Guinevere and Arthur represent the high winning symbols. A sword on a sign serves as the Scatter, the Grail is used as a Wild and can be provided with a multiplier.
3 scatters trigger 5 free spins. In which you collect Scatter, which leads to new levels and set up a multiplier up to 100 times. The following steps are necessary:
- 3 to 5 Scatter-2x multiplier
- 6 to 10 Scatter-5 times multiplier
- 11 to 17 Scatter-10 times multiplier
- from 18 Scatter-100 times multiplier
Each Level grants 5 free games to be played before the next level starts. In the Basegame, a multiplier can also be set at random. The multipliers will only be applied if there are wild wins.

I like the design and the Sounds of the Game much better than 300 Shields, although the potential is slightly lower. I’ve been playing this game for over a year now and I’ve been playing it for a long time.
Queen of the Crystal Rays by Microgaming
Microgaming has created the Queen of the Crystal Rays slot machine in collaboration with Crazy Tooth Studio. It is a 6 reel slot machine with 4 rows and 25 paylines. The Slot can be expanded by 4 additional rows and 25 paylines. 3 contiguous symbols on a line pay out a prize no matter where they are.
Blue, red, green and purple crystals were chosen as symbols for small wins. In addition, there is a pot, a Cup, a box and the Queen. As Wild there is a symbol with the inscription Wild, or a Symbol with the inscription “2x”. Then the profits are doubled. The sign Bonus is a Scatter.
The Crystal Ray Feature can be started at random. The Slot expands to 8 rows and has 50 paylines. Higher profits are theoretically possible.
3 or more Scatters trigger 4 bonus rounds with guaranteed winnings. There are real cash prizes and multipliers on the playing field with 6×8 fields. There are also crystals that deflect light beams on the Slot. All fields that are passed through by the beam of light are paid out as winnings.
20 cents to 50€ can be placed. The maximum profit is € 150,000, which is 3,000 times the stake. The payout ratio is 96.7%.
The Slot is made graphically appealing. Crystal Ray Feature is also triggered relatively often in the Basegame. However, I had to wait for the free games 150 Spins, but the winnings were more limited. Overall, I found the Slot after some time, relatively boring.
Book of Leo by Stakelogic
Stakelogic has released a Book of Dead or Book of Ra clone exclusively at Mr Green. Book of Leo is a 5-reel 3-row, 10-line slot game. 5 numbers and letters for small wins were chosen as symbols. Higher payouts promise a red bill Doko, a Mandrill, a lion and a lion. As a Scatter and Wild is a book with a tree in the sunset on it.
When the Scatter appears, it triggers a Respin and remains on the field for one spin. 3 books trigger 10 free spins with bonus symbol as you know it from Book of Dead. There is also a card risk game.
Another special feature is that you can play 2 to 4 Slots at the same time. More Slots will appear on the same surface. Fortunately, the background music is played only once. So it’s not so annoying.
The stakes range from 10 cents to 200€. The maximum win for a full screen with the highest multiplier is€ 1,000,000, which is 5,000 times the bet. The payout ratio is 96.21%.
I love this Game, but I can’t play it. The Slot is somewhat reminiscent of the Lion King, but Book of Leo is the obvious thing. However, I used more than 200 Spins to try out the free spins. The Freespins didn’t pay well. So it is very difficult to get really good profits.
Vegas Adventures with Mr Green by Pragmatic Play
Exclusive to Mr Green, there is the slot Vegas Adventures with Mr Green. It is a 5-reel, 3-row and 25-Payline slot machine.
5 numbers and letters were selected as small symbols. A cube, a hat with money dollar notes, a Limousine and Mr Green put the high symbols there. A Vegas sign has been labeled Freespins and used as a Scatter. A one-armed Bandit serves as a Wild.
3 Scatter in the middle of the slot
10 free spins. Rings with Ruby appear on the playing field and are to be collected. The following Level, there is :
- 0-4 rings: Level 1 with 3 extra Mr Greens (highest Symbol)
- 5-9 rings: Level 2 with 5 extra Mr Greens (highest Symbol)
- 10-14 rings: Level 3 with 9 extra Mr Greens (highest Symbol)

The stakes range from 25 cents to 125€. The maximum win is € 62,500, which is 500 times the stake. In theory, the payout ratio is 96.52%.
I’ve been playing this slot for over a year now and it’s been a long time since I’ve been playing this slot for over a year now. According to the manufacturer, the variance should be very high. Nevertheless, the maximum profit is rather low. The Slot is not bad of the symbols and depictions, but overall a little boring. Mr Green used to offer much better Slots with NetEnt.
Wild Cats Multiline by Red Tiger
Wild Cats Multiline is a 6 reel Slot with up to 7 rows and 49 paylines. As small symbols diamonds, hearts, spades, cross and a circle were chosen. Higher payouts are available for the animals Lux, Leopard, Tiger and Panther. The lion represents the Wild. As a Scatter, there is a Symbol with the inscription Royale spins.
3 scatters trigger at least 6 free spins. The more Scatter you get, the more Freespins you get. Once with 4 scatters I received 14 free spins. Theoretically, there should be more, but the manufacturer says nothing about the maximum number of Spins.
In the free spins, the Wild will remove low symbols when they appear. From the top come new ones. If a new Wild appears, a next symbol avalanche is triggered. The chances of high profits are increasing.
You can bet from 10 cents to 200€. The maximum win is € 400,000, which is 2000 times the stake. 95.13% is the theoretical payout ratio.
I have to admit that I have already received the free spins many times. So far, I have not even received a 100-fold profit. Although the slot machine is overall very good in Design, it is a High Variance Slot, which can also be boring. A more varied Gameplay would be beneficial.
John Hunter and the Aztec Treasure
John Hunter and the Aztec Treasure is a clone of Montezuma or Legacy of Egypt. The slot machine has 5 reels, 6 lines and 7,776 paylines.
As symbols, 4 letters, a torch, a hat with a whip, a giant Toucan, a snake, a Panther and a researcher were chosen. A stone serves as a Scatter.
3 scatters trigger between 5 and 25 free spins. A wheel of fortune appears and loses the exact number. In the free games, a vertical roller above the Slot can be used to set up a multiplier of up to 10 times. If 2 more Scatters appear on a Spin, new free spins will be awarded on the respective multiplier of the spin. With the new wheel of fortune you can win 3 to 15 free spins.
The stakes range from 20 cents to€100 on the Slot. The maximum win is € 900,000, which is 9,000 times the stake. The theoretical payout ratio is 96.5%.
This is a high Variance Slot from Pragmatic Play. In some cases, it may take more than 300 Spins to get free spins. They usually pay out very little. However, the potential of the 10-fold multiplier is always very high. The Slot is reminiscent of Legacy of Egypt, where I usually have as much luck.
Some good slot machines in August 2019
At the beginning of August 2019 I especially liked the newer Slots John Hunter and the Aztec Treasure, Book of Leo by Stakelogic and the Sword and the Grail by Play’n GO. Design and Gameplay are very varied at the Slots. You have great potential and can bring very good profits to the player. You should take a look at the Slots.
